Annapolis Update

The 435th Maryland
General Assembly convened on Wednesday, January 14, 2015.  And, for the first time in 8 years, I believe there exists a real opportunity for Republicans and Democrats in the sate legislature to work together to get state spending under control and improve the business climate in Maryland.

Needless to say, I am excited to have the privilege to serve as your representative in the Maryland House of Delegates. I have been assigned to the very prestigious Economic Matters Committee. The Economic Matters Committee considers legislation relating to alcoholic beverages; banks and other financial institutions; business regulation, including related occupations and
professions; commercial law; corporations and associations; economic development; electronic commerce; labor and employment; property and casualty
insurance; unemployment insurance; utilities regulation, including electric, gas, and telecommunications; and workers' compensation.

I will also be serving on Education Subcommittee of the Anne Arundel County House Delegation, the Veterans Caucus, the Waterman's Caucus and the Sportsman's Caucus.

Your input on issues is always welcome. Please don't hesitate to contact me at:
